1. Call my insurance company. Do they cover mental health care for a four-year-old?
2. Wait by the mailbox for my new parenting books to arrive. I finally got a good suggestion for what might actually help, so I bought it. Immediately.
3. Call the child psychiatrist recommended to me by a friend to schedule a psychological evaluation.
4. Remember to hold on to my sanity.
5. Find out how much it costs to navigate all of this without health insurance, just in case.
good luck! I remember going through something similar with Rose about this age!

Did I offer to send you my Feingold Book?
Can I send you my Feingold Book?
What you describe sounds almost exactly like the BoyChild; the throwing, head butting, name calling. I honestly thought there was something wrong with me as a parent and him as a child.
Changing his diet has made a HUGE difference in his life and ours. And when he eats something he shouldn't, we can tell.

I have pets (No, that's not my new kitty on my blog. It's Joe and Laura's.). I plan on keeping it that way.
