Hacking your Wife's Blog for Fun and Profit

My dearest DadaMama,

Happy Valentine's day, I love you!

On this warm and fuzzy hallmark-card holiday, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the true spirit of Valentine's day. No, not the spirit that rubbed out several of Al Capone's rivals in Chicago back in 1929. No, I mean the spirit that has pulled us through tough times and happy times; from a decrepit old house without heat to a blue cinder block house with heat, a washer and dryer, and our own little yard repleat with a fence covered by jasmine; from two smitten kids to a madenningly lovely family of rambunctious boys and pets.

In a couple of short weeks, we'll be welcoming the newest rambunctious boy to join the rest of us in the outside world. I can hardly believe it. I'm excited, I'm scared, and I'm thrilled. And I couldn't imagine doing it all with anyone else. You're a wonderful, loving, caring mother, a beautiful person, a gifted writer and orator, a gorgeous, sexy, kind, loving, and splendiferous wife. (Okay, maybe orator is a strech. ;-) You make me happier each and every day.

I love seeing you with our boys, reading to them, snuggling them, tickling them until they fall off the couch. I love waking up next to you each morning. I love snuggling you at night, watching bad tv together.

You are a wonder. My sweet bebecita, our own DadaMama. I love you more than ever. Thank you for sharing this life with me. The boys and I are lucky, lucky men.

It reminds me of that scene from the romantic classic, The Addams Family. When Morticia is on the wheel, captured by the evil Doktor Penderschloss, and Gomez comes up to her.
